Favorite Links

Here's the beginning of a collection of my favorite links that don't fit anywhere else.

Well, it looks like just about all these links are dead or outdated (3/23/2016).  I'll get around to fixing them someday.

New Orleans Links

Alas!  Tortorici’s Italian Restaurant at 441 Royal Street in New Orleans, our favorite New Orleans restaurant, has closed after being operated by the same family for over a hundred years.  Here’s what their logo looked like:

Tortorici's Restaurant

Cornstalk Hotel  Get the room on the main floor in the turret.

Napoleon House  Best Muffalettas in the French Quarter, and more than ample drinks.

Monteleone Hotel  One of the great New Orleans hotels.

Beach Links

Alas!  Salty’s Beach Bar in Panama City Beach has closed.  We loved that place.  They had the best hot crab dip ever.  Here’s what their logo looked like:

Flounder’s Chowder House  Breeze, Florida (Pensacola Beach)
